Karoelien & Heinrich were a dream to work photograph. They are simply; the nicest people and they are just such a great couple together. Karoelien planned the wedding and did all her own decor (She even made the concrete plant holders) and I am impressed at how beautiful it all was.

Thanks so much for choosing me to capture your special day, guys! I really enjoyed it and I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness together!

Amy is Australian and Neil is British. They met in Dubai as they both live and work there. On a trip to South Africa Neil proposed on Table Mountain. It was therefore only fitting that some time later they returned to beautiful South Africa and get married at the gorgeous La Petite Dauphine! Megan from Wedding Concepts was there to make sure that everything was beautiful and ran smoothly and Sweefilm have created a beautiful video telling this couples love story. I simply love Amy’s Temperley gown! It is beyond beautiful! Amy and Neil…thank you so much fro trusting me with your photos, I loved each and every minute of creating these!

This lovely wedding happened at Beloftebos just outside Stanford. Claudie & Arturo are some of the loveliest people I have had the pleasure of working with. They are just such lovely natured people – salt of the earth as some people would describe them. I enjoyed every moment – I got to work with some awesome people (FJS are always wonderful to work with) and it was such a relaxed, fun day. I hope you all enjoy the blog post as much as I enjoyed creating these images xxx

These images are from a recent collar that I had with a new kid on the block, Foraged. The company is owned by Janine Vermeulen, a long standing friend of mine who has a vision to go green, bringing the chic, to eco friendly weddings.
“A stylish and modern wedding is easy to pull off in a sustainable way. As more and more brides decide to go the greener route, they are discovering how natural and powerful their day can be when focussed on choosing options with little or no impact on the environment. The modern couple can still have stunning stationery and lush greenery, without having to worry about the size of their footprint on the earth’s natural resources. We loved the contrast of white against green and the few hints of colour thrown in for good measure. Fans of anything handmade, we absolutely adored the ceramic bowls and plates and that striking minimalist stationery. The bridal look is stunning in its striking simplicity.” – read the full article that was featured on The Pretty blog hereView full post »
