These images are from a recent collar that I had with a new kid on the block, Foraged. The company is owned by Janine Vermeulen, a long standing friend of mine who has a vision to go green, bringing the chic, to eco friendly weddings.
“A stylish and modern wedding is easy to pull off in a sustainable way. As more and more brides decide to go the greener route, they are discovering how natural and powerful their day can be when focussed on choosing options with little or no impact on the environment. The modern couple can still have stunning stationery and lush greenery, without having to worry about the size of their footprint on the earth’s natural resources. We loved the contrast of white against green and the few hints of colour thrown in for good measure. Fans of anything handmade, we absolutely adored the ceramic bowls and plates and that striking minimalist stationery. The bridal look is stunning in its striking simplicity.” – read the full article that was featured on The Pretty blog hereView full post »

Georgia and Scott live in London and decided to get married at one of the most beautiful venues I have been to; Mont Rochelle! It is the first time that I photographed at this venue and I am totally blown away! What a view!?

Izandi (from I DO 4 U) and her team were there to make sure that Georgia and Scott’s african inspired wedding was done right! And that evening, 3 Tons of Fun made an appearance to add some spice to the evening! This wedding was truly magical. I hope you enjoy the photos! x

Like many of the couples whose weddings I shoot these days, Sheryl and Rick live in Dubai. Although neither of them are South African, they chose to get married at Molenvliet. Who wouldn’t want to get married there, with that view!?

Sheryls dress was absolutely gorgeous! Berta bridal are responsible for this beautiful creation and it was quite a journey for Sheryl to get this dress made. When you see it, you can see that the journey was well worth it!

The theme for this wedding was a 1920’s Great Gatsby vibe and who better to pull this off than Okasie!? The black and white dance floor and the retro microphone added all the little details that made sure this theme was carried out throughout! It was absolutely gorgeous!

I hope you guys enjoy the pics! Wx   View full post »
