My Story

This is me

I love interiors, clean design and food experiences. I believe in tempering tradition with modernity and I believe that this is the basis of my work.

My journey as a photographer started 17 years ago whilst travelling around Ireland. Creating beautiful compositions and working with light consumed me... I was hooked.

Hygge is a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment; making the ordinary extraordinary….making the normal special.

I believe in capturing your day to look like it is true to being there. I want the viewer to feel like they were there.

It’s about a feeling. It’s about all the tiny elements that are placed together to create one magical day. I want the viewer of my work to look at the photos and feel as if they are there, experiencing the moment for the first time.

I believe in capturing all those beautiful details that have been selected, created and curated by my clients. Their wedding day is an expression of who they are and I believe that all the little details should be honoured.

I also believe in capturing tiny moments between bride and groom, dad and daughter,  or friends having a giggle in the corner. I would describe my style as capturing the entire day, in all its essence from the gorgeous shoes that the bride has selected and that make her feel beautiful, right through to the tears that are being shed by mom in the front pew.

I believe in tradition! I capture portraits as well as moments because tradition is important to me. I want my photographs to stand the test of time. You should love and cherish them in 30 years’ time as much as you do now! I also believe in capturing moments! Some things should never be staged. It is about getting the balance right!

If you like what you see on my website then get in touch with me. We are all different, which means that our needs are different. It is so very important that you choose the right photographer for you. Make sure that you love their ethos and their work.
